German Red Peacock

Description
German Red Peacock is an old aquarium strain related to and derived from cichlid species from Lake Malawi. Our strain was acquired from Segrest Farms, in 2003. Males are large, often reaching 15cm (~6 in.). Females are somewhat smaller. Males are reddish-yellow with bright blue faces and an orange shoulder patch. Females are gray fish.
